The story of the Boukli backpack One
Hi there!
1: The Struggle Begins
In June 2018, I embarked on a 9-hour flight from Atlanta to Paris with a checked suitcase and a carry-on
backpack. As I settled into my cramped seat, I dreaded the long hours ahead. My backpack, packed with
essentials like my passport, cash, and a few outfits, sat between my legs. Two hours into the flight, I found myself
twisted uncomfortably, trying in vain to find a position that wouldn’t leave my upper body aching.
2: A Moment of Inspiration
Despite my efforts, nothing provided relief—until a moment of desperation led me to lean on my backpack. For a
brief 40 seconds, it felt like a mini spa treatment for my neck and back. However, the backpack lacked proper
support, and the relief quickly faded. Still, that fleeting of comfort planted a seed of inspiration.
3: Observing the Need
As I glanced around the cabin, I noticed many other passengers struggling in similar discomfort. It became clear to
me: everyone had a backpack, yet none offered meaningful support for the rigors of travel. The idea struck—what if a
backpack could do more than just carry belongings? What if it could make traveling more comfortable and enjoyable?
4: Birth of the Boukli Backpack
From that moment, the concept of the Boukli Backpack was born. Designed with multifunctionality and comfort
in mind, it ensures no one has to endure the discomfort I experienced. The Boukli Backpack transforms the
travel experience, sparing people the agony of becoming human pretzels during long journeys.
